CONGRATULATIONS BOYS ON BRINGING HOME THE SHIELD!!!!!!!!!!

The Ranfurly shield is once again back in Canterbury.  Make sure you get to the park and support the boys as they put the shield on the line at each of the home games.  They played an almost flawless game to win the shield off Wellington, largely helped by the large number of Cantabs that ventured north to offer their vocal support.  The boys appreciate all the support they get both at home and at away games.  Your voice really does make a difference to the way they play.  It has been great to see the players in the clubrooms after the games, and a great night was had with both the Tasman and Canterbury teams in the clubrooms together.  There was much laughter and banter going on.  The whole team will once again be in after the Northland game and the players will also be getting presented with their caps (i.e. 12 games for Canterbury).

END OF YEAR FUNCTION
The end of year function that has been for the past few years a dinner has changed this year to being a Canterbury Rugby Awards Ceremony, a Gala event celebrating Canterbury and Crusaders Rugby.

This will be held slightly later in the year than normal due to the All Blacks not arriving back from overseas until early December.

Date:                    Saturday 19th December
Venue:                 The James Hay Theatre, Town Hall
Time:                    7pm
Tickets:                 $60.00 per person (Special Price for CRSC Members)

Tickets can be purchased from the CRSC committee. Get in quick as they tend to sell out very quickly.
